The examples of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Operating Guidelines (SOGs) posted here are intended to provide resources to state and local traffic incident response agencies as they develop their own policies and procedures. NTIMC does not necessarily endorse these documents, and recognizes that policies and procedures that are appropriate for one jurisdiction may not be appropriate in all circumstances.

General Guidance
